Megan Amoss
Bio

Megan Amoss received her Bachelor's degree in music composition from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland in 2001. She made her first public solo appearance with Handel's Messiah in 1999. Subsequent concert credits include Dvorak's Stabat Mater, Britten's Ceremony of Carols and Rejoice in the Lamb, Charpentier's Song of the Birth of Our Savior, and Michael Haydn's St. Leopold Mass. Ms. Amoss is a chorister at Grace and Saint Peter's Parish in Baltimore, and often appears as guest soloist and cantor at several other area churches. An enthusiastic supporter of Baltimore's classical music community, Ms. Amoss is the Webmaster of Zymbelstern.com, which is a free concert calendar serving local musicians and audiences. She also serves on the board of directors of the American Liszt Society's Liszt-Garrison Festival and International Piano Competition, a four-day international festival held biannually at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland.
